A handheld shot taken from the point at Stanley Park. A bit traditional but I really liked the breathtaking view of the coastline and the clouds.

Impressive clouds... traditional, but beautiful. Nicely done.

Great panoramic view, alway's crisp and clean, great series.

Traditional but still beautiful. There seems to be an overall bluish cast to the image from the water and sky. You indicated this was a handheld shot, so that rules out HDR. Did you use anything in particular to capture the detail so well in the clouds (e.g., ND grad, etc.)? Their immensity is quite humbling to look at.

@Russ: Thanks Russ! I used my Nikon D-200 with an 18-70mm lens and a polarizer. With side shots to the sun, I find that a polarizer can help bring out detail particularly when the lighting conditions are less than ideal.
Splendid colours,great scene

Not only the scenery, light and composition are great but the wake left by the boat makes it very special.

Breathtaking. Great angle. Powerful clouds. The scale of the boat against the scene is nice.

Beautiful shot! The landscape is amazing and your composition really packs a punch. The boat gives the water character, the hills/mountains are spectacular, and those ominous clouds really make it special. They look like they are just crushing the mountains above the city skyline.
