Ice was forming in Georgian Bay. And the rocks on the shoreline were covered in ice which made positioning the tripod a little risky. There were a few moments when I thought I might become one with the ice ;-)

I love the smooth transition between rock and ice. That one piece of translucent ice in the foreground is wonderful, halfway on the water, halfway on the rock. Glad you got the shot without falling in. It was worth it (easy for me to say!).
